Daniel Huy, Psy.D.

Dr. Daniel Huy is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of New Jersey. He obtained his M.A. (2015) and Psy.D. (2019) in clinical psychology at Marywood University. He has training experience in a number of settings, conducting therapy, consultation, and assessments in community mental health, private practice, and an outpatient hospital. Dr. Huy also completed an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at Aspire Health Alliance (formerly South Shore Mental Health) in the Boston area, as well as rotation between partial and inpatient settings at McLean Hospital. Shortly after receiving his Psy.D., he was a post-doctorate fellow at Integrated Center for Child Development, also located in the Boston metro. There, he was trained for two years in pediatric neuropsychology, evaluating children and adolescents for attentional, learning, executive functioning, developmental, socio-emotional, and psychiatric challenges. Additionally, he continued to see teens for therapy and co-facilitated a pre-doctoral testing seminar.

Dr. Huy continues to work with children, teens, and adults in therapy and assessment. After moving to New Jersey, he has provided individual/group therapy, neuropsychological evaluations, school presentations, and consultation regularly. While at Brown Psychological Services, he hopes to continue to provide quality evaluations, supporting children and teens who may have difficulties with ADHD, executive functioning, learning, and socio-emotional challenges.

In his free time, Dr. Huy enjoys playing soccer, traveling, performing arts, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
