Dr. Ilana Herzberg is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York, specializing in comprehensive evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and her master’s and doctorate degrees from Hofstra University. She is also board-certified in school neuropsychology.

Dr. Herzberg has previously worked as a school psychologist in New York City, where she supported families in navigating the special education process. She has extensive experience working with neurodiverse individuals—particularly autism spectrum disorder—as well as ADHD, learning differences, intellectual disabilities, and social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Dr. Herzberg understands that seeking an evaluation can feel overwhelming, and she strives to make the process supportive and collaborative from start to finish. Her approach focuses not only on providing diagnostic clarity but also on identifying each person’s unique strengths and learning profile. She provides thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations that support growth at home, in school, and across daily life.

Dr. Herzberg believes that evaluations can open the door to greater understanding, stronger support systems, and increased opportunities for learning and growth. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, running, and traveling.
